Prayerly ("the app") is developed by Mohammad Saddam Hossain / Raza Technology Solutions. This page explains what information the app accesses, how it is used, and what it does not do with it.
Location and compass data are processed entirely on your device to run the app's features. Prayerly does not have a backend server, so this information is never uploaded, stored remotely, or shared with us or any third party.
Your settings, prayer preferences, Qaza tracking counts, and Tasbih (dhikr) counter progress are saved locally on your device only, so they persist between app launches. Uninstalling the app removes this data. Nothing is backed up to a cloud account operated by us.
| Permission | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Approximate location | Calculate prayer times and Qibla direction for your area |
| Notifications / exact alarms | Deliver the adhan (call to prayer) at the correct time for each prayer |
| Audio settings | Play the adhan sound at the scheduled prayer time |
| Run at device startup | Re-schedule prayer notifications after your device restarts |
| Network state / internet | Look up a readable location name (e.g. city) for the coordinates the app already has |
Prayerly does not integrate any advertising network, analytics SDK, or crash-reporting service. The only external lookup the app performs is a device-level geocoding request (via your device's operating system) to translate coordinates into a readable place name — this does not go through servers operated by us.
Prayerly does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children. The app has no account system and no way for users to submit personal information to us.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a revised "last updated" date.
